Irish Wedding Carriages is a family-run
business based in
Birr, Co. Offaly where we are ideally located to provide our horse
& carriage service to brides & grooms nationwide. Established in 1991 and
owned by Declan & Camilla Cleare, Irish Wedding Carriages has recently taken delivery of
a brand new 'Glass Landau' carriage (photo opposite) - which was built to our own exacting
specifications.
The carriage features
a top which can be fully raised or lowered in less than a minute - should the weather
change on your wedding day.
The luxurious burgundy interior, original front & rear glass lamps, 12-spoke wheels and classic white finish lend a unique sense of style & comfort to the
occasion and also provide the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photographs of
the bride & groom. Two drivers in full formal dress (capes, cloaks and top hats)
- - will guide your carriage along your
chosen route.
'Blaze' & 'Star' - our top bred Dutch Gelderlanders - are the ideal horses for pulling your coach and are always groomed to perfection for your special day. They
always maintain their poise in traffic and
are guaranteed to be a magnificent sight for all your guests as you arrive at the church and reception.
